| The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 12:46 p.m. in response to a reported audible fire alarm at a commercial building community center. Engine 203, staffed by Captain Curtis and three firefighters, responded to the call. Upon arrival, Captain Curtis established command. No visible signs of fire were observed from the exterior, so the crew began investigating the situation. Maintenance crews arrived and provided access to the building for an interior inspection. After a brief search, it was determined that the alarm was false and the situation was brought under control. Command was concluded, and Engine 203 returned to the station. |
