Structure Fire

The Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 11:07 a.m. for a reported structure fire at a residential apartment complex.

Command 2 responded to the scene with Chief Pruitt. Engine 203 responded with Assistant Chief Cavanaugh and five firefighters. Ladder 2 responded with Deputy Chief Bradshaw and two firefighters.

Upon arrival, Chief Pruitt established command and began investigating. Engine 203 arrived and was directed to stage near the apartment. Ladder 2 was instructed to stage on the roadway.

After a brief investigation, no fire was found, and other responding fire departments were canceled. Command requested a representative from the apartment complex to assist.

The situation was placed under control at 11:23 a.m. All units cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
