Automatic Fire Alarm Activation

At 5:35 p.m., the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 60 block of Somers Cove, a residential apartment complex, after a smoke detector activation was reported by the monitoring company representative.

The Crisfield Police Department arrived on scene and spoke with the residents, who advised that the alarm was false and there was no emergency present. The Crisfield Police Department shared this information with Somerset 911. At 5:41 p.m., a re-alert canceled the fire department's response based on information from the Crisfield Police and the residents.
