| At 12:25 a.m., the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Crisfield Airport to establish a landing zone for MSP Trooper 7, assisting Ambulance 802. Command 2, staffed by Chief Pruitt, and Engine 203, staffed by Assistant Chief Cavanaugh, an engineer, and three firefighters, responded to the call. Command 2 arrived first, and Chief Pruitt established command at the scene. Engine 203 arrived and, following instructions, staged to help set up the landing zone for Trooper 7. Ambulance 802 arrived shortly after, with MSP Trooper 7 landing safely at the airport. Firefighters assisted in transferring the patient to MSP Trooper 7. The situation was brought under control shortly after the helicopter took off. Command was terminated, and all fire units cleared the scene and returned to quarters. |
