| At 9:40 a.m., the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 26000 block of Rolland Tyler Road following a smoke detector activation. The alarm company reported that the alarm had been triggered in the master bedroom, zone 23. Engine 203 responded with Lieutenant Emily and three firefighters on board. Upon arrival, command was established and an investigation began. There were no visible signs of smoke or fire from outside the residence. After a thorough check, firefighters determined there was no emergency, as the alarm was a false activation. The situation was declared under control. Command was terminated and Engine 203 returned to quarters. |
